Increased cooperation creates airport of the future

Airports are important hubs and play a vital role in regional development. In order to make travel as smooth and environmentally sustainable as possible, collaboration is needed between different stakeholders in different transport modes. So now Swedavia, the Swedish Transport Administration and Viktoria Institute are investing in research and innovation in order to make Stockholm Arlanda the leading airport of the future. 

The goal is to increase predictability and allow the airport to use resources in a better way than it does today. As a result, access can increase and further benefits to the environment can be created. The project, which will continue into 2014, will help Stockholm Arlanda develop into a world-class airport focused on passenger satisfaction and the environment.
